Robert Bicknell – Audition & Performance Workshop (Singing)
Workshops held every 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the month at Pineapple Dance Studios (Studio 5).
7.00 p.m. till 9.30 p.m. (depending on class size)
Cost: £20 per session (plus Pineapple membership)
A unique opportunity for singers, actors and dancers to practise their audition and performance techniques in a twice-monthly workshop led by leading singing teacher Robert Bicknell. The workshops are an ideal environment for performers wishing to share and develop their work, and receive feedback from a teacher Please note: classes are designed for experienced performers (actors, singers, dancers) or those wishing to enter the industry. not suitable for beginners.
Classes take the following format:
Warm up techniques; singing exercises; performance exercises; song presentation (individual); feedback (Robert and group)
Please come with your song learnt and performance prepared. You will also need a backing CD or sheet music (piano) for accompaniment.
All students are welcome to record the sessions and their performance for home study.
